- Functional Integration - Hands-on in the Feldenkrais Method
DE | 4-day worlshop Somatic Hands on with Bernhard Mumm
This workshop focuses on the specifics of the Hands On methode according to Feldenkrais while experiencing them. There will be time for self-exploration, partner*work, being moved and moving, exploring qualities of touch, living anatomy, and more.
Through touch and movement, givers and receivers together sense movement patterns and limitations. Feldenkrais also makes it possible to discover previously unused movement potential and to playfully expand the range of movement. This can be integrated into everyday actions (sitting, walking, reaching, bending) or special actions (bow stroke of a violinist, bounce of a basketball player, etc.). Moshe Feldenkrais described this part of his method as "dancing together."
Most of the time, after a session in Functional Integration, treated people feel more mobile, free, grounded, etc.... Statement of a client after a session in Functional Integration: "My body feels more intelligent."

I am a Heilpraktiker (since 2000), Feldenkrais teacher (since 1995), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (since 2019) as well as Sounder Sleep teacher (since 2010). I receive further impulses from the Asian healing and martial arts.
The focus of my practice is on body-oriented learning methods. Everything I offer aims to show people how to help themselves. My claim is to pick up each person where she/he is at the moment.
