Dancing Tigers
T.R.E. Tension/Release and Trauma Healing Oriented Somatic Combo
Healing comes by activating inner will and acknowledging the power of this choice to awaken the tiger which has been sleeping within us.
The awakening of the tiger is a metaphor inspired by the book and work of the psychologist PeterLevine on Trauma Healing and Somatic Experience, which refers to awakening our true powers to letgo of old tensions and fears. In This Class:During these classes, using first conscious breathing, and than gentle mobilizations with dance movements, we will enter into the T.R.E. Exercise Method by Dr. D. Berceli.
The students will be guided to notice and handle their bodily stress/ tensions, to embrace and trust their bodies, and to finally release their tensions by surrender to the power and pleasure of the "dancingtiger" within, the wild “Shower-flow” of involuntary Tremors.

What is T.R.E. (Trauma/Tension Release Exercise Method)?
T.R.E. was created by Dr. David Berceli. This is a method of deep relaxation of the body and the mind. It consists of 7 physical exercises which slowly, from the ankles up, serve to release the Psoas Muscle. Once the psoas muscle releases, the pelvis slide more down and the diaphram finds more space and we can breath and especially exhale better. This psoas's relaxation induces involuntary tremors that activate the lymphatic system and the parasympathetic nervous system in a neurobiological process where toxins, tensions, and in certain cases traumas come to be released.
T.R.E. is a simple but profound therapeutic tool.
It heals from within invisibly session by session and it opens to self-love, universal love, and freedom. What we can learn from the T.R.E. is that everybody needs to shake, shaking is good. While we learn to welcome the tremors we learn to let go and trust in our body.
Our body has the power to heal by itself.
Please wear comfortable clothes like T-shirts or shirts, leggings, soft linen/cotton trousers. The course will take place in the backbuilding, 2nd backyard, 3rd floor.
