Somatics & Trauma
A significant proportion of traumatic experiences are stored in the body, which is why a somatic perspective on the development and processing of trauma is very useful.
In February and March there will be 2 training seminars for Embodied Empowerment - Trauma & Self-Regulation with Pia Witthöft. They invite you to learn the classification of the term “trauma” and to understand its origins, effects and connections in the context of a somatic psychological approach. >> more info
Embodied Release will start in January 2025 and will be Tiziana Longo's second regular course alongside Dancing Tigers T.R.E. While both programs share a focus on somatic awareness and release, Dancing Tigers is more dynamic and energizing, with an emphasis on physical release through TRE, whereas Embodied Release is more introspective, aimed at emotional reconnection and relaxation. Dancing Tigers may be a better fit if you're seeking a more gradual physical release with a focus on the psoas and chest. If you’re more drawn to emotional release through movement, the Embodied Release course might be the most beneficial.

Cells & Body Systems - Introduction to BMC®/IBMT Method
4-day workshop Somatic Hands On with Odile Seitz-Walser
DE | Mar 06 - 09, 2025 | Thursday - Sunday
The Body-Mind Centering approach offers us a way to deepen the intuitive wisdom of the body and nurture our innate ability to heal through awareness and touch. In this work we learn through the objective study of anatomy and physiology, as well as the subjective study of experience.
BMC® touch is a dialogue between the body, sensations, emotions, thoughts, experience at the tissue and cellular level, both in the hands of the practitioner and in the body-mind of the client. It is a journey into the unknown, into the self-reorganizing forces of the thinking, feeling, expressing and living body, the soma. It is also a journey into the past knowledge and experience of embryology and development.

Sensory Experiencing: Touch & Trauma
6-day workshop Somatic Hands On with Jane Okondo
EN | Sep 30 - Oct 05, 2025 | Tuesday - Sunday
Trauma held within the body can affect a person's ability to function with ease and regulation. Touch-based work supports skill development and listening for the resolution of trauma held within the tissues of the body. We will explore different ways of bringing touch and relationship to establish a new somatic ground and coherency, such that unconscious behavioral responses are held and a new self awareness arises.
